The days of ‘white wine or a fruit based drink for the ladies’ are over – aren’t they?

The Shiny Red team have been working with Coors on the Bittersweet Partnership, which is basically a site that looks at beer and gender issues. Personally I don’t really care what anyone drinks, but somewhere deep inside (and I guess this is probably true for a lot of blokes) I harbour a sneaky respect for women who drink the odd pint or two. I think that like wine there are many different and interesting types of beers and to never try them largely because you want to keep to some odd sexual stereotype seems very odd.

Anyway beer blogger Dave Bailey has some interesting thoughts about women and beer on the Bittersweet blog here – http://www.bittersweetpartnership.com/blog/beer/making-beer-unisexual-–-dave-bailey/ Not sure I completely agree with all he says but getting rid of chauvanistic attitudes towards drink is something that we should all aspire too.
Btw  – I hate the word ladies – sounds so Victorian
The title comes from this guy
